School and Finals

Well school has been crazy the last few days. With my bball team going every which way and finals now here its been nuts! My grades are good and I'm pecking at them slowly. Tomorrow is my first set of finals. I took one today but that one was very easy. I've been up studding like no other for the last week and looking over the last of my notes on things. It get tiring and a little cramped. The best part is that after each class I throw away everything that I dont need for that class. Makes my bag so much lighter. Its hard to pay attention sometimes beccause Christmas is right around the corner. But I got to keep trying. The only final that I am worried about is my Spanish. Other than that I think I'm okay. Well thats that!

Basketball

Well basketball is going really well. I am playing on varsity and our team has some of the top guards in the state. One made "2nd Team" and two others made "Top Players". Its so amazing watching them play and pass the ball. They go so fast. Sometimes its hard keeping up but I'm doing the best I can! With my heath not always the best and still battling with my knee its a challenge but I am working as hard as I can. Things tend to get tough, but I'm getting tougher. My coach calls me trainwreak. Just because I have kindey stones from time to time and my knee is always hurting me. But he says it in both a positive and a negative way. Yes, I'm a trainwreak when it comes to my body and my heath. But when I'm on the court its a whole different story. Yes, some of these varsity girls are bigger than me or faster, but if I can get a steal or a rebound or something like that I will. And I'm not afraid to put my head down and run over a few people. Sometimes when I'm going after the ball, the court looks like a trainwreak. But I just keep on chuggin..

Car Accident

Well yes, I just got my license not to long ago and I was in a car crash. Luckly, it wasn't my fault. I was driving down a street that isn't normally busy. I was on my way taking one of my good friends Lindsay home. Along with her I also had 2 of my other good friends Sydney and Mary with me. I had made it through the intersection and on my right hand side there was a gas station. I didn't see the car until it was right infront of me taking a left hand turn. I tried to swerve around the car but it didn't work and we collided. I didn't member much and my head hurt pretty bad. I thought that I was dreaming. It didn't feel real. At first I didn't hear anything or see anything. Then I heard Lindsay, who was in the front seat, saying she couldn't find the handle to open the door. And in the back seat Mary and Sydney yelling for us to get out. I will never forget those sounds. We got out of the car all okay and then I looked at Mary and her eye, slowly but surly, was swelling. Up till then I was calm and collected. As soon as I saw her eye I dropped to the sidewalk crying. I was so scared and felt to guilty. I didn't know what to do. I called my mom and the other girls called theirs. I was terrified. I looked over at the car that we had hit and it was crunched. I had hit the drivers side and I was so worried to what had happened to the other driver. No one would tell me. Then again I was in such a state of shock that I'm not sure what I would have done. The police and fire and everyone else came to the accident. We got questioned and I was trying to calm myself down. All the parents were asking if we were all okay and such. I was shaking but it wasn't from the cold. I looked at the car and I started crying again. I couldn't believe that the worse injury we had was a black eye. Yes, it was bad but surly someone should have been hurt worse. We all had our belts on and I tried my best to avoid the accident. I still can't believe it happened. It took me a little while before I could fully sleep through the night again.

We all are okay and doing well. Like I said before Mary's eye was brused and had swollen shut but now it is almost all the way good. Everyone else had bruses and soarness. The other driver was air lifted but is okay. He broke his cheek bone but other than that is perfectly fine.
Lindsay, Me, Mary, and Miss Sydney.
We are all doing well and are okay.
Everyone who has seen the car says that
we had a guardian angel that night, and
I believe we did.
